Announcement of the Think Tank to the Public

The state is an organization that embodies the mind and will of nations united around common goals. In this context, the Turkish state tradition is the product of thousands of years of mind, accumulation and experience. The Turkish state tradition is the manifestation of a chain of values ​​that attach importance to meaning and content, and is built on justice and conscience.

We are a Former with roots in the past!

The subject of the Turkish state concept is human and human dignity. As stated in the Orhun Inscriptions, “as long as the blue sky above does not collapse, and the dark earth below does not pierce, the Turkish Nation will protect its province and tradition.” Today, the final stage that will determine the future of the Turkish state tradition is the vision of the Turkish Century. Accordingly, it is essential to make goodness, prosperity, development, brotherhood and justice prevail throughout our country, from east to west, from north to south. It is also a fact that we are a country with a rich civilization, strong history and human ties and a wide heart geography. Therefore, we believe that it is a necessity to make decisions that do not only concern our country but also affect the fate of humanity.

As TOROS AKADEMİ Think Tank, we strongly support the will displayed by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Nationalist Movement Party leader Devlet Bahçeli and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in order to be saved from the terror scourge that has become a gangrene for our nation and state in recent years.

Weapons Must Be Unconditionally Disposed

Considering the vitality of the political attitude, stance and approach regarding the reasonable solution of the terror problem, which poses a serious political, social and economic problem for our country and is a hindrance for the Turkish Century, we trust in the maturity of the state mind. We consider it our responsibility to remind all parties that the steps taken and to be taken in this direction will not be a mere political move or a party policy, but also relate to a survival issue.

Within this framework, we see the call for “unconditional disarmament”, voiced by Dr. Devlet Bahçeli and considered to be a warning, as an ideal stance. Thus, we agree that the process taking place on a ground free of bargaining and conditions is dependent on the motto “let people live so that the state lives”.

We Strongly Support!

We believe that it is vital to resolve the terror hump as soon as possible so that our country’s financial resources are not wasted, it becomes more vibrant economically, we as a nation in the contemporary world aim for greater goals and we do not encounter any problems in foreign policy due to terrorism, and some countries do not profit from the terror problem in question. In this respect, we point out the importance of the expectations of our state authorities and our President for the terrorist network to unconditionally lay down its arms without allowing it to become an apparatus of other countries. We also want to point out the necessity of some political parties to respect our social and national sensitivities, to act sensibly and to stay away from provocations. We want to emphasize that not only politicians but also the opinion leaders and representatives of the society should assume responsibility.

Watch Out for Provocations!

We would like to express that we should be vigilant against the possibility that some evil centers and foreign powers may make provocative statements and actions in order to undermine this process and that it is necessary for common sense not to be compromised as a society. In this context, we invite some associations, political parties and politicians in our country to act as much as possible and especially moderately.

On the other hand, we call on all public institutions and organizations, associations, unions, political party organizations and similar organizations in Mersin to raise awareness on this issue.

In addition, we invite all press organizations and workers to take responsibility in creating public opinion.

We hope that the developments will be beneficial for our nation, our country and Middle East peace and open doors to goodness.
